Norwood Middle School proudly announces Roselynn Creech as the Rising Star for January 2026. As an 8th grader, Rosie demonstrates school pride by treating everyone with respect. She is a member of the honors program and takes high school credit courses, consistently earning straight A’s. This achievement has earned her a place in the National Junior Honor Society. Rosie’s drive, talent, and leadership also shine through her involvement in Silhouettes, Sensations, choreography, shows, competitions, student council, basketball, and fall soccer.
In addition to her school activities, Rosie has served her community since elementary school. She began by babysitting for friends and family and later expanded her service through her church and other community activities. She looks forward to finding new ways to serve her church and community in the future.
Rosie has set both short- and long-term goals. She plans to maintain A Honor Roll through middle school, graduate high school with honors in 2030, join the Army, and attend college to pursue an engineering degree.
Norwood Middle School expects great things from Rosie. Students like her help make Norwood Middle School a Hall of Fame school and strengthen Norwood City Schools.
