Four people stand together indoors in front of a sign reading “Norwood City School District” with a large red “N” behind them. A teenage boy in the center holds a certificate and wears a blue jacket and light-colored pants. Two women stand on either side of him, and a man stands on the far right. They are posing closely together against a brick wall background, a school recognition or award moment.

Harlan is a very well-rounded student who has no trouble standing out amongst his peers. Harlan dedicates time and effort into everything he does. Not only does he excel academically, but he is also involved in multiple extracurricular activities. In class, Harlan engages in every lesson and takes accountability of his own education. He shows up to school with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and respect for his teachers and classmates. There is no doubt that Harlan has a very bright future ahead of him and is an excellent example of a Norwood Indian. For these reasons and many others, we are excited to award Harlan King as our Rising Star for the month of March. Congratulations, Harlan!
